Classes

Hmmm...classes, well that is a thing that we do not want to go to as of now and are surely going to miss soon. Life takes you to various phases and believe me classes, may it be school, college or even education with work, are an integral part of all these phases. Classes are the best places to attain knowledge (yeah right!!). Ok, let me cut the crap. Yup its more like places to freak out, meet friends, trouble teachers and catch up with all the lost sleep....And for those who came in late [A phrase I stole from late...read as for those who skipped the first chapter and started reading from between], I am a very sound sleeper. Ya you can read it both ways, I do make a lot of sound [snoring] while sleeping.

The most recent phase of clases [I beg to keep it anonymous, for fear of getting thrown out] are no different. Lots of fun (between classes) and lots of sleep (during classes). Friends, tea, gossip...blah blah blah....summing up to an unforgetable time that we all crib about now and are going to miss soon. Yeah, its going to come to an end.

4 years of waking up early morning and hardly reaching classes on time, sleeping in class with open eyes and falling heads [no, they do not literally fall off] and the catching up with friends over tea during the breaks....we are all going to say good bye to that soon. All of us aware of it and also afraid of it in the back of our heads. We all know that most of us are not going to meet as much after classes and are really worried about it. But I feel hardly anyone will speak about it. Its an unspoken fact.

Yeah, we may all write to each other through e-mail, and some of us may not. But the fact remains that all of us have made a place in each of our hearts and none of us can forget each other. Buddies for life, that is what we have become. Probably we will not meet, probably we will not talk, but I am sure, when we all meet anytime again, the flames of friendship in our hearts will kindle up again to bring the warmth back again.

Lets hope our friendship keeps going on for ever. To all my buddies out there.. You are all very very very dear to me...and I am proud to have known you as my friends.

Till I write again...

PS: I notice that I am getting more and more senti...subuk subuk....

Love stories

If marriages are made in heaven then love stories are surely made on earth (I am talking about real life love stories, not the hindi movie types). How else can you explain two people having nothing in common except for lonliness and a broken heart each falling in love with each other. The key word here is broken heart. Both had a past and I did not expect at least one of them to fall in love ever again. I thought that person was going to go in for the thing that was made in heaven, but arranged by parents (Some people call it arranged marriage). This love story could also turn out to be the same, who knows. But as they say, "Miya biwi razi to kya karega kazi".

I on a personal front am strictly against love and relationships of the love kind. No, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against love, I think it is a wonderful thing and it makes the world around you go round. But, unlike movies, where almost everything goes well, I have not seen 1 successful love story that has ended the way the couple wanted to, except of course my own brother. But then again, I never witnessed the love story. 90% of the time the couple faced only sorrow at the end of it.

Well, accepted that the duration of the courtship is that of pure bliss, but then as the saying goes, "all is well that ends well" and not "all is well that goes well but does not end well". So I still believe that the end being good is the thing that matters and I am still waiting to see a happy ending. I hope I see it soon. After all seeing is believing.

My thoughts before starting to write the blog and while writing the same have changed drastically, now I do see a point of contention between the two. Like the saying goes, opposite poles attract. They sure do. I have seen lots and lots of examples of the same.

You may be thinking by now, what is this guy talking about? What does he want to communicate? Well its simple. I only want to say, think before you leap. Do fall in love, but take it forward if both the parties are convinced and sure that you are going to take it to its logical and happy conclusion. Marriage.

And yes finally to add - "pyar karte nahin ho jaata hai". Agreed, per "Pyar ko aage badhana padta hai, khudh nahin badtha". So be causious to rise in love, not fall in love.

PS: Thanks pankaj for the last line. :)

WASE exams

Well, I don't have any writing provess, but what the heck...Here we go...Lets see if anyone at all comments :).

I am not sure what to write about...I think I will win the booker price for that alone...Let me boggle my brain here and see what I get there....karwar...hmmm too old, wonderla...hmmmm already done....Yup got it...let me tell you about exam time....The most wonderful time in the life of a waseian. So wonderful, that I am sure, no one would have thought about writing on this topic...Will anyone read...well that is for me to see....

Every year, waseians are hit with 8 weeks to studies. Why eight weeks?? Well that is the duration of exams and that is the only time we get (take out) to study. Other weeks the priorities are different. But during exam times we just freak out...We do everything but studies..:)

Let me give you a insight into our lives. We are bunch of Software Engineers and one poor bank empoloyee staying together....Our life is spent in such a fashion that most of our lives are spent in our respective offices and then some at home. Our weekdays at home are mostly spent sleeping on the bed or just sitting in front of the TV surfing channels. Then comes exam time and suddenly our life does a topsy turvy, no more TV, much less of office and sleep and yes, lots of printouts... Then comes the problem solving. One of us will have a doubt, the rest will try to solve it....Suddenly, out of nowhere, the conversion will be routed somewhere else and we will not know how much time we spent. Suddenly some one will look at his mobile and shout "Abe dedh baj gaya sone chal". If there is anybody reading this who does not understand even a bit of hindi, it means "Man its 1:30, lets go to sleep". And sleep it is....Lights off, eyes closed and snorings start...Well I am the greatest in that feild. I sleep as soon as I lie down and snore as soon as I sleep. I really pity my room mates, they have put up with me for 4 years now.:) Kudos.

This all continues through out the week and then suddenly comes Friday. Every body is now awake and teaching starts, who ever has learnt anything start teaching...In the course of time, we have all become good teachers...Abhinav, the best of the lot. Oh my god, I missed out on Jai's creativity...Well he is the most creative of the lot. The only problem is, his creativity only comes out during exams. You should see the ideas he come out with at exam time.. Its really fun...Neel, well he is the abhimanyu of the group, he will sleep while all of us are studying and soak in everything we study. During this entire time, poor little shiju is left out of everything. Why? Well he doesn't have exams and he is on with his same old life...:)

That's all for now...Wanted to write more...but am feeling hungry now and I wanna put my 1st blog in first...So, Asta La Vista baby....
